Starting with the 2014 Sutherland to Merweville Charity Mountain Bike Fun Ride (“S2M”), a team of Simplisiti mountain bikers has taken to the road in the name of charity every year ever since.

The Fun Ride covers a staggering 110km of gravel road between Sutherland and Merweville and is hosted by the WAWWA Foundation, a non-profit organisation that provides much-needed support to rural communities (especially children and the elderly) in the Karoo.

The S2M is of one of their several projects and takes place annually. All entry fees for the S2M raise much needed funds for improvements to Huis Mervia, a boarding home in Merweville for less fortunate children.
